Jeremy McLeod, 20, dies, another injured in single-vehicle crash on I-220 in Jackson, Mississippi

A Jackson man was killed after being ejected in a crash Saturday morning on I-220. Madison County Coroner Alex Breeland said 20-year-old Jeremy McLeod was pronounced dead at the scene of that crash in the northbound lane of the interstate. According to investigators, McLeod ran off the road around 6:20 a.m. and hit some trees. Another unidentified man in the car was transported to a local hospital. His injuries are not known at this time.
