MHP is investigating a fatal car wreck that happened last night.
The single-vehicle crash occurred Friday evening around 10:55 p.m. in Claiborne County. A Chevrolet SUV driven by 24 year-old Kadeem Fleming was heading west on MS 552 near Port Gibson, when the vehicle exited the highway and crashed into a tree. 24-year-old Jarvis Brandon was a passenger in the front seat, and he died at the crash site. Officials say he was not wearing a seatbelt. Fleming was airlifted to UMMC with injuries.
