Man hospitalized after being struck by train
Corinth Police said Lonnie Jones, 66, of 103 Oakland School Road, was walking along the train tracks in east Corinth around 2:30 p.m. The train conductor told police the man was trying to crawl off the tracks at the time of the incident. He was under the train when police arrived on the scene.
Jones actually survived the accident and was taken to North Mississippi Medical Center, recently being listed in fair condition.
