The motorcyclist was headed west when the driver crashed into a northbound Dodge Ram pickup truck. The victims were pronounced dead at the scene, the pickup truck driver stayed at the scene and is helping with the investigation.
Two motorcyclists killed in collision with pickup truck on U.S. 24 highway in Independence
The motorcyclists were riding west on a Harley Davidson motorcycle about 5:40 p.m. Wednesday on U.S. 24 highway when they crashed into the pickup, which was headed north on North Elsea Smith Road, said Sgt. Jeff Buck with the Independence Police Department.
