Poplar Bluff man dies in fatal crash
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 80-year-old Willis Smith was traveling on US 60, 10 miles west of Poplar Bluff, when he failed to yield to another vehicle, driven by 57-year-old Leigh Lingenfelser, of Bolivar. Smith was pronounced dead at the scene.
