Kathleen E. Duncan, 58, of New London, Mo., and Brittney L. Caldwell 18, of Center, Mo., were injured in a collision at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, in rural Ralls County, Mo.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported Duncan suffered serious injuries and was flown to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill. Caldwell had minor injuries and went by ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital.
Officers reported Caldwell was driving a 2002 Ford F350 truck north on Route T 10 miles east of New London and stopped while attempting to make a left turn. She pulled into the path of an eastbound 2014 Ford Focus driven by Duncan. Neither driver was wearing a seat belt.
The Ralls County Sheriff's Department, fire and ambulance departments personnel assisted the State Patrol at the scene.
