Joseph J. Lemark, 23, Daniel R. Lewis, 24, and Hailey M. Hochandel, 21, killed, and two injured in boating accident on Lake of the Ozarks in Camden County, Missouri

Troopers say they received a call at 1:45 a.m. Saturday and so far it appears as though a boat struck a rock bluff. Two people have died and two others were transported to hospitals.

The Kansas City Star reports that the crash happened just before 2 a.m. Saturday. The Missouri Highway Patrol says the bodies of three victims had been recovered by midday Saturday.

A crash report says the boat struck a rock bluff, ejecting the driver and two occupants into the water. Frazier re-entered the boat and paddled to a dock across the channel.

One last time, childhood friends Hailey Hochanadel and Ashley Lamb went out with a group of young people on a powerful boat into the night across the Lake of the Ozarks they loved so much.

Authorities allege a Kansas man was intoxicated when the boat he was operating struck a rock bluff on the Lake of the Ozarks in central Missouri, killing three friends.   

The Camden County Prosecutor's Office said Wednesday that no charges are being filed at this time in the crash. The highway patrol incident report now says the driver of the boat is "unknown."

The Kansas City Star reports that 24-year-old Daniel Lewis, of Overland Park, Kansas, had a blood alcohol level of 0.088, which is just above the legal limit of .08.
