Branson police chief received minor injuries in 3-vehicle crash

Akers' car has extensive damage, Crutcher's car has moderate damage, and Willbanks' dump truck has minor damage, according to the Highway Patrol report. Branson Police Chief Kent Crutcher was involved in a three-vehicle crash between Branson and Silver Dollar City on Thursday afternoon. Aker'€™s car then crossed the median barrier and hit an eastbound dump truck driven by Kenneth Willbanks, 51, of Hurley. He was driving an unmarked patrol car toward his home in Reeds Spring. Akers'€™ car hit Crutcher'€™s westbound 2015 Dodge Charger.
