Christie Smith, 48, died, Megan Smith, 23, and Timothy Nash, 60, injured in a two-vehicle head-on collision on Highway 63 in Cabool, Missouri

The crash took place on Highway 63, roughly three miles North of Cabool, at around 1:15pm. Christie Smith, a 48-year-old Cabool resident, was the driver of a Chevy Avalanche that hydroplaned and crossed the centerline. The vehicle was then struck by a Chevy Suburban driven by 60-year-old Wright City, MO. resident, Timothy Nash.
