Melisa Myers, 51, seriously injured, 16-year-old driver minorly injured after a two-vehicle collision on Missouri Highway 5 in Wasola, Missouri

A 16-year-old male juvenile driver from Gainesville, operating a GMC Yukon, failed to yield while travelling Eastbound and struck the Escape. The Yukon then ran off the roadway and the juvenile was ejected; he sustained only minor injuries in the accident. Melisa Myers, a 51-year-old from Theodosia and the driver of the Escape, sustained serious injuries.
