Potter was driving a 2002 Toyota Camry north on Highway 61 north of Dietrich Road shortly after 7:30 a.m.
42-year-old Daniel K. Potter died Monday morning in St. Charles County after a collision with a tree. The accident occured on Monday, October 20 around 7:30 a.m. when Potter veered off of Highway 61, sending his Toyota Camry into a ditch, and then a tree. Potter, a resident of Troy, Missouri, died at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
