The Missouri Highway Patrol is investigating a vehicle crash that claimed the life of a Bonne Terre, Mo. teenager who lost control of his vehicle and crashed on Highway F east of Laws Road on Saturday night.
Ryan D. Parrett, 17, was driving a 1988 Chevrolet Truck westbound on Highway F at 10:48 p.m. when he failed to make a curve. His vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a sign and concrete culvert. The vehicle then struck a tree, causing the truck to overturn and strike a second tree. Parrett was pronounced dead at the scene.
