Multiple wrecks with minor injuries on snowy I-70 & I-270 near St. Louis Missouri.
Patrol car struck as multiple wrecks back up traffic for miles on I-270.
A series of wrecks caused a traffic nightmare for those heading into St. Charles County Friday morning.
The wrecks happened on westbound Interstate 70 at Interstate 270 around 6:15 a.m.
One of the vehicles involved in a wreck appeared to have hit a Missouri Highway Patrol car when being moved off the road. The patrol car sustained minor damage.
Another other car landed on its roof and settled in a ditch off the interstate.

Multiple lanes of I-70 were closed and Interstate 270 was backed up for miles in both directions as crews worked to clear the scene.
Minor injuries were reported.
