Two people suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a Thursday morning crash on Highway 87 North between Roundup and Billings, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.
Janeen Jackson, a 67-year-old Roundup woman, was driving south in a 2004 Ford Ranger when she lost control on the icy roadway shortly after 10 a.m. and drifted into the northbound lane.
She hit a 1997 Ford F-250 hauling a trailer, according to a Montana Highway Patrol Trooper.
Jackson was taken by ambulance to St. Vincent Healthcare for treatment of minor injuries and was not on listed as a patient on Thursday evening, a hospital spokeswoman said. Her passenger, Carl Brown, 84, was taken by HELP Flight helicopter to St. Vincent Healthcare with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
He was in stable condition Thursday evening.
Emergency responders found Brown lying in the roadway, said a Montana Highway Patrol Capt.
Police said that both victims were wearing seat belts, and that none of the three men in the F-250 pickup were injured.
