Pedestrian dies after being hit by car in downtown Billings
An investigation found that the woman was walking east across North 27th Street when she was struck by a northbound vehicle in the outside lane, Cagle said. Emergency medical responders treated the victim on the scene and transported her to a local hospital where she died, he said.

Yellowstone County Deputy Coroner Cliff Mahoney said that Sherry Lynn Sleepingbear died of injuries consistent with the collision. An autopsy was performed Friday morning.
