One man killed, after crashing his snowmobile while trying to jump over a creek near Cooke City, Montana

A snowmobiler died after he tried to jump a creek near Cooke City, Mont., and crashed. Park County officials stated that the man crashed shortly after noon Thursday and that search and rescue members arrived within minutes. The man died at the scene after resuscitation efforts failed. The coroner’s office will release the man’s name and hometown after his family is notified.
