The Montana Highway Patrol says the man was eastbound on First Street North when his bike went off the side of the road shortly after 1:30 a.m. Sunday. He laid his motorcycle down on its left side.

The Montana Highway Patrol says the incident happened around 1:30 a.m. on 1st Street North in Havre. Couch was reportedly heading east when the motorcycle went off the right side of the road.
Toney John Couch, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, was reportedly from Cut Bank. The crash is being investigated. Speed was not a factor in the crash, but the Montana Highway Patrol does not yet know if alcohol played a role.
