Fremont woman dies in crash

The 57-year-old male driver of the other car was treated at the hospital and released.
An elderly Fremont woman was killed in a car accident in Fremont, Nebraska. Phyllis Eichmeier, 82, was driving east on an unnamed city street Friday evening when her car crossed the center line and collided with a westbound car. Eichmeier was transported to a Fremont hospital, where she was pronounced deceased. Police and the Nebraska State Patrol are investigating the cause of the collision.
