Emily Bloomquist, 16, killed in rollover crash south of Randolph, Nebraska

16-year-old Randolph student killed in rollover crash(link is external)

The Cedar County Sheriff’s Office said she was driving a half-mile southeast of Randolph around 1:30 a.m. when she lost control and the car rolled. She was ejected. The Sheriff’s Office said she was not wearing a seat belt. Bloomquist was pronounced dead at the scene.

Jeff Hoesing, superintendent of Randolph Public Schools, said school wasn’t in session today because of the girls state basketball.
