Nevada Highway Patrol responded to state Route 159 near Mile Marker 6 about 2 p.m. where a GMC Envoy was on its side, according to a state trooper.

The man and woman were trapped inside the SUV when NHP arrived. Both were airlifted to the hospital, but their conditions are unknown at this time.

State Route 159 near Mile Marker 6 was closed in both directions for over an hour, but re-opened at 3:12 p.m., Hixson said.
