Clark County coroner's officials say 71-year-old Terry Lance Westbrook and 74-year-old Charlotte Westbrook died while trying to cross a street late Friday. Both were from Kennesaw, Georgia.

The driver fled the scene and police are currently looking for the vehicle.

Las Vegas police supervisor Lt. Roger Price said two pedestrians were crossing the street outside of a marked crosswalk by the Rio hotel and casino, near the intersection of Flamingo Road and Arville Street, when they were struck by a vehicle just after 10 p.m.
Two pedestrians died after being hit by a car near the Las Vegas Strip Friday night.
Las Vegas police supervisor Lt. Roger Price said two pedestrians were crossing the street outside of a marked crosswalk by the Rio hotel and casino, near the intersection of Flamingo Road and Arville Street, when they were struck by a vehicle just after 10 p.m.
The vehicle fled the scene, Price said. A description of the vehicle was not immediately available.
The Clark County coroner’s office will release the identities of the two pedestrians after their families have been notified.
