Passenger Tonnisha Thomas, 19, killed when car driven by Dario Stevenson, 28, crashes into wall on Vegas Valley Drive in Las Vegas

Dario Stevenson, 28, of Las Vegas was driving a Pontiac Grand Prix westbound on Vegas Valley Drive near Tahoe Drive when he lost control and crossed the center turn lane at about 10:45 Thursday night. The car struck a construction trailer along the eastbound lanes and hit the block wall there. His 19-year-old female passenger was declared dead at the scene, and Stevenson suffered minor injuries. We'll update this story as more information becomes available.
