One person had to be extracted from a car by Las Vegas Fire and Rescue.
Roads were closed in the area while Metro investigators were on scene.
Accident in northeast valley injures up to 10 people
Up to 10 people were injured in an accident in the northeast valley on Sunday afternoon.
At about 2:30pm, a northbound car on Pecos road failed to slow down for traffic that was stopped at the intesection with Bonanza Road, and collided with the rear of a car, which proceded to hit the vehicle in front of it and so on until three vehicles had been struck. Of those involved, only four were taken to the hospital, with non-life threatening injuries, but authorities say that up to 10 people may have had injuries from the crash.
