Driver in fatal 5-vehicle crash booked on DUI charges

The NHP said the driver responsible for the crash remained in critical condition at University Medical Center, as of Tuesday. He was the manager at Alarmax Distributors on Polaris Avenue in Las Vegas. The second deceased victim was identified as 34-year-old Sharrod Hightower, of North Las Vegas. Witnesses said the driver, a 26-year-old man, according to the NHP, was speeding down Lamb and blew through two red lights.
