Flamingo at Las Vegas Strip closed after pedestrian is struck by car

Eastbound Flamingo Road at Las Vegas Boulevard South is shut down Monday morning after an auto-pedestrian crash, Las Vegas police said. A woman was crossing Flamingo at the Strip when she was hit by a 2005 Kia driven by a man. Delays and road closures will remain for another two to four hours, Gordon said about 6:15 a.m. Metro does not suspect the driver to be impaired, Gordon said. The woman was taken to a local hospital and is in critical condition.
