Pedestrian crossing Boulder Highway fatally struck by car

A 26-year-old Las Vegas man is dead after being struck by a car while crossing a central valley street late Saturday night. While crossing Boulder Highway from west to east near Tropicana Avenue at 11:46 p.m., the pedestrian entered the path of southbound traffic travelling on a green light, according to a Sunday morning Metro release. He was struck by a 2014 Fiat 500L, driven by 35-year-old Justin Roberts, of Las Vegas. The man was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, the release said. The Clark County coroner's office will release the identity of the deceased after next-of-kin has been notified.

One killed, one critically injured in separate auto-pedestrian collisions

Sunday afternoon, the victim was identified as 26-year-old Semmy Robledo of Las Vegas. His official cause and manner of death are pending an autopsy. Robledo was struck by a 2014 Fiat 500L driven by 35-year-old Justin Roberts. Witnesses and police said Roberts had the green light.
