Woman killed after being struck by car on sidewalk identified

The 53-year-old woman struck and killed while walking on an east valley sidewalk Wednesday night has been identified by the Clark County coroner's office as Cynthia Buss-Finley. A 2002 Buick Century, driven by 19-year-old Alejandro Molina, lost control, rotated clockwise, then traveled onto the sidewalk, striking the two, a Thursday morning Metro release said. Buss-Finley, of Las Vegas, was walking with David Winkelspecht Sr., 54, just before 10 p.m. on Charleston Boulevard, near Lucerne Street, when the crash happened. Buss-Finley and Winkelspecht, as well as the driver and 15-year-old passenger, were taken to University Medical Center. Winkelspecht and the passenger of the vehicle suffered minor injuries.
