Pedestrian struck, killed near Tropicana and Boulder

A pedestrian was struck and killed Tuesday night near Tropicana Avenue and Boulder Highway. Las Vegas Metro police said a call of the incident came in at 10:01 p.m. Police did not elaborate on other details of the crash. The department's Fatal Detail investigators were called to the scene.

Pedestrian struck, killed on Boulder Highway identified

A man who was struck and killed by a pickup on Boulder Highway near Tropicana Avenue on Tuesday has been identified by the Clark County coroner's office. He is Gerrell Antoine Govan, 39, the coroner's office said Monday. Metro said Govan, whose address is unknown, was not in a crosswalk when he was hit by the pickup. Police responded to the scene around 10 p.m.
