1 ejected, killed in rollover crash on 215 Beltway

A woman is dead after she was ejected from her car just before 5 a.m. Monday near the 215 Beltway and Interstate 15, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol. Trooper Chelsea Stuenkel, of the NHP, said the woman was driving her sport utility vehicle, traveling from northbound I-15 to westbound 215. Stuenkel said the woman’s car went down the rock embankment on the ramp going from eastbound 215 to the Las Vegas Boulevard exit. The woman wasn’t wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the car, Stuenkel said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
