Driver dies in hospital after US 95 off-ramp crash

A driver involved in a crash on an off-ramp at U.S. 95 and Jones Boulevard died in the hospital two days after the incident. The Camry continued through the intersection, struck a curb and entered a residential yard, where it struck landscaping and another vehicle. NHP said Merritt was behind the wheel of a Toyota Camry that was getting off southbound U.S. 95 at Jones. The vehicle was in the right lane approaching the surface level intersection when it failed to maintain its lane and struck a Lexus. According to Nevada Highway Patrol, Donald Merritt Jr., 51, died from injuries sustained in a crash that took place last Friday.
