Police investigating fatal rollover crash in northeast valley

Both North Las Vegas police and Metro initially responded to the crash, which happened at about 7:45 p.m. A rollover crash in the northeast valley killed one person Monday night, police say. At least one person died, and North Las Vegas fire crews worked to extract at least one passenger. Details on what happened before the crash were not immediately available. The car took out a light pole during the crash, NV Energy's website confirmed, and at least one technician was called to the scene.

1 killed in crash near Craig and Lamb

A passenger of a vehicle that rolled over near Lamb Boulevard and Craig Road died while another person sustained a head injury Monday night. The passenger in the rolled vehicle died at the scene while the driver was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries, Strader said. The impacted vehicle was redirected into a light pole, rolled over on its roof and struck another pole. Richard Strader, of Metro, elaborated that a vehicle was attempting a left turn on a permissive green light when it struck a vehicle traveling through the intersection.

Coroner identifies woman killed in northeast valley rollover crash

Metro's fatal detail investigated the crash that killed 21-year-old Lizbett Dominguez about 7:45 p.m. at the intersection of Lamb Boulevard and Craig Road, according to police. Dominguez was a passenger in a 2006 Dodge Charger that collided with a 2013 Ford Focus making a left turn from southbound Lamb to eastbound Craig.
