Pedestrian killed in crash Sunday morning in North Las Vegas

An adult pedestrian is dead after a crash Sunday morning in North Las Vegas. Officers were called about 6:15 a.m. to the intersection of Lone Mountain Road and Camino Al Norte, near the northwest corner of Craig Ranch Regional Park, where a person was struck by a vehicle, said North Las Vegas police spokeswoman Ann Cavaricci. The person, whose age and gender were not immediately available, was taken to University Medical Center where they died, Cavaricci said.
