Police said a driver was turning onto Del Ray Ave. when he struck the two pedestrians. Both pedestrians were taken to the hospital, one reportedly had life-threatening injuries.

The two pedestrians, who were identified as Flora Largusa, 57, and Larry Largusa, 56, were taken to University Medical Center. Larry Largusa's injuries were described as serious. The 37-year-old driver, who police identified as Nicholas Kennedy, of Henderson, remained at the scene and did not display signs of impairment, according to Metro.
