Driver who struck, critically injured woman in south valley crash was 16
The woman was in a marked crosswalk and heading north across Warm Springs Road just after 3 p.m. when a 16-year-old boy turned from Shadow Crest Drive and slammed the 2015 Chevrolet Cruze he was driving into her, police said. The woman was taken to University Medical Center, where she remained late Friday.
