Evidence at the scene and witness statements indicate 37-year-old Christopher Rivera was crossing Tropicana outside of a marked crosswalk when he was struck by a yellow Ford Vehicle according to Metro.
Rescue personnel from the Clark County Fire Department said the driver initially stayed on scene, but left in the vehicle before police arrived.
