Witnesses told police the driver of the Chevrolet was racing a white, full-sized truck that fled from the scene after the crash. The truck and its driver are still outstanding.

In a statement, the Metropolitan Police Department said James Leon Dailey, 28, of Henderson was racing in a Chevrolet pickup truck with three other passengers on Corn Creek Road, when the truck hit a dip in the road. Dailey, the driver, lost control; the truck ran off the roadside and rolled several times.
