Las Vegas girl, 17, dies after rollover in Pahrump

A 17-year-old Las Vegas girl died in a rollover crash that happened late Thursday night in Pahrump, according to Nevada Highway Patrol. The overturn caused the passenger, Rhea Janolino, 17, of Las Vegas, to be thrown from the vehicle. The driver of the rolled vehicle was rushed to Pahrump Valley Medical Center in critical condition, NHP said. The highway enforcement agency said two teens were traveling in a Mazda Tribute that was going southbound on the highway. NHP reported the incident at 11:36 p.m. on State Route 160 north of Gamebird Road.
