(CBS/AP) ' A small, ultralight plane has crashed near the Weirs Beach Channel in New Hampshire's lakes region. Laconia police say they received multiple calls about a plane down in the backyard of a Lucerne Avenue home around 3:40 p.m. The crash occurred at the edge of Lake Winnipesaukee's western shore near Laconia. The pilot, who was trapped, was freed by firefighters, police said. The pilot was rushed to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Hospital in Lebanon.
