Man Struck, Killed By Vehicle In Portsmouth, NH
Police say speed, alcohol, drugs and driver distraction were not factors in the accident.
Timothy Morrison, 51, of Portsmouth was trying to cross Route 1 near Southgate Plaza at around 6 a.m. when he ran into the side of a southbound Jeep Cherokee. The impact knocked him to the ground, where he was hit by a southbound van and dragged underneath the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
