9 injured in I-93 pileup, including 1 in critical condition

Director of Community Relations Michele Hutchins has worked at Speare for nine years, but said she has never seen anything like the accident on I-93.
Sometime after 10:30 a.m. Friday, at least 35 vehicles were involved in a pileup on Interstate 93 near Ashland between exits 24 and 25 in the northbound lanes. So far nine total injuries have been recorded, with six people already having been treated and released, two still being treated, and one still in critical condition. Current weather conditions, which include snow-covered roads, could be a factor.
