North Bergen man struck in fatal accident was hit by tow truck: Bayonne police
Three women at Estrella's home on Sunday were hugging each other and crying, The Jersey Journal reported. None of them knew any details about how Estrella died. One woman said "We're very sad."
Joel V. Estrella was reportedly crossing a street when he was struck and killed by a tow truck along Route 440. The truck was towing a vehicle at the time, and both vehicles have been impounded. An investigation into the cause and circumstances surrounding this accident is ongoing.
