A 40-year-old borough resident and his dog were struck by a car near the intersection of Anderson and Aurora avenues on Sunday afternoon. The driver, Yap W. Moon, a 68-year-old resident of Fort Lee, was issued summons on Sunday evening for leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident, careless driving and reckless driving. The borough resident was taken to Englewood Hospital & Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries and his dog is expected to make a full recovery.
