Pedestrian fatally struck crossing highway in N.J. city
A pedestrian was killed early Tuesday attempting to cross a highway in Union County, authorities said. The crash occurred about 1 a.m. in the 1000 block of Spring Street in Elizabeth across from a motel, according to a city spokeswoman.
