1 DEAD IN FIERY CRASH IN SALEM COUNTY, N.J.

It happened before 8:30 a.m. Friday near the intersection of Route 77 and Shirley Road.

Images from Chopper 6 HD showed a white sedan which appeared to have struck a utility pole and burst into flames.

Woman killed in fiery S. Jersey crash

The driver, who was not identified because her family has yet to be notified, was driving north when her silver Nissan Altima crashed into an electric pole and then went up in flames, said Trooper Lawrence Peele, a New Jersey State Police spokesman.  

Victim of fiery N.J. crash was high school student, police say

According to reports, DeLaCruz-Antonio's vehicle struck a utility pole, splitting it in half, and the vehicle then burst into flames.
