One dead in crash with tractor trailer on GWB

The victim, a New York City resident, was pronounced dead at 5 a.m. at Harlem Hospital in New York, Pentangelo said.

One person is dead after a collision between a car and a tractor-trailer on the George Washington Bridge in Fort Lee, New Jersey. The accident occured at about 2 AM when a Honda Accord with four occupants collided with a tractor-trailer on the upper level of the bridge. Two of the passengers needed to be extricated from the Honda. One of the victims was pronounced deceased at 5 AM after being sent to Harlem Hospital in New York. The three other passengers are currently in stable condition. The upper level of the bridge was closed to traffic while the accident was cleared and investigators worked the scene. We will have more information on this story as new details become available.
