Driver crashes into Jersey City mall, and just keeps driving

Miraculously, no one was hurt, according to the report. The driver was an elderly man, witnesses told CBS 2. The accident occurred just before 6 p.m. last night. A cell phone video aired by the news station shows the white SUV as it passes a fast food restaurant and slowly makes its way down a corridor until it crashes through a wall of a vacant store.

83-year-old who crashed through Jersey City mall 'unsure what happened,' police say

The 83-year-old from Jersey City was taken to Jersey City Medical Center-Barnabas Health after the accident and was placed under observation for a short time and then released, hospital spokesman Mark Rabson said today.
"Glass was everywhere," said Rasik Patel, owner of News Etc., a mall kiosk, "I watched it go right past me. People were screaming." "He was driving like he was numb," another man said.
