'We will see our friend' again, pastor says at crash victim's funeral

"He was a very, very, good, smart, humble kid," Gordon said before presenting his family with basketball Jersey baring messages from King's friends. Tyson Halley, King's life-long friend, mentor, and a pastor, assured mourners they would meet King again because of his relationship with the lord. He had friends all over the country whom he met through school, church, and conventions. He had a deep love of basketball and some of his friends wore LeBron James shirts, King's favorite basketball star. King attended Model Secondary School for the Deaf in Washington, D.C. and continued his education at Boise State University.
