Tenafly firefighters extricated Aron Yishai Unger, 61, of Spring Valley following the single-vehicle crash between Exits 1 and 2 of the southbound Parkway shortly before 2 p.m.
Driver dies after crashing into tree on Palisades Interstate Parkway in N.J.
A 2022 Kia Sportage being driven by 61-year-old Aron Unger, of Spring Valley, N.Y., was traveling south on the highway when it went into the center median and struck a tree, Palisades Interstate Parkway Police Lt. Raymond E. Walter told NJ Advance Media. The crash happened around 1:45 p.m. in Tenafly.
