Man crossing highway struck, critically injured, police say
A man was struck by a vehicle and critically injured late Saturday night in Atlantic County, authorities say.
According to Hamilton Township Police, John Garrison, 51, of Mays landing was attempting to cross U.S. Route 40 in the area of Brandywine Avenue around 11:30 p.m.
Garrison was struck by a vehicle being driven westbound on Route 40 by Wayne Fisher, 53, of Vineland, police said.
