N.J. motorist struck and killed bicyclist, fled from police, cops say
Deandra L. Brownpalmer, 44, of Swedesboro, was driving a car westbound on the 300 block of Shirley Road in Upper Pittsgrove Township, when police said he allegedly entered the eastbound lane to pass a vehicle in front of him and struck a 62-year-old bicyclist traveling on the eastbound shoulder of Shirley Road, according to a criminal complaint filed in the case.

Douglas W. Nutt, 62, was riding his bicycle on the eastbound shoulder of Shirley Road in the Upper Pittsgrove shortly before 7 p.m. on July 2 when he was hit by a car driven by Deandra L. Brown Palmer, 44, of Swedesboro, according to New Jersey State Police.
